Come join us for an evening of classy but sassy entertainment as we the PARAMOUNT PLAYERS of the Paramount Grande Theatre, dance for you in our tribute to the 1950's music on January 10th, 17th and 24th at 7pm slt. We dance to some of the great hits of the decade with a special tribute to the three artists the world lost .. The Day the Music Died. The Day the Music Died, dubbed so by a lyric in the Don McLean song "American Pie", is a reference to the deaths of rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, in a plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa, on February 3, 1959.

The Debut of the Vector Painting Experiment

Here we have the various vector paintings that I've recently done with the help and support of Soul Yheng my babe and partner who encourages me every step of the way. It is a whole new world in my art, something I've never done before and I'm very pleased with how it has turned out. Please just come and look. For some reason, that is all I need to be satisfied with my art, the feedback.

Yes, you read that right, SILKY SANDRA it is now. I'm not sure how my virtual name evolved exactly, it was one night while I was a DJ in a club we were having such a good time and that's what they started calling me LMAO!!

THE TALE OF THE TWO TOWERS

Two towers, one on the right was built last year in 2012, this year's tower is on the left.

IT'S ON! I think it opens to the public on Monday...

Two Towers...

Theme of this year's SL10B birthday bash is "Then & Now" so what I've done is put two photographs of the tower's up at the top of this year's exhibit, last year's build and this year. It is a gallery build with photos from the southwest on floor one, color art as well as monochrome. Art provided by 2spS Gallery inworld with photographer Soul Yheng master photographs of the Western US.

The major change I made this year, was the stairs. Last year I used ramps and saved a lot on prims but this year, the focus is the main spiral staircase, which makes it interactive - in a static sort of way.  The art is available to purchase or view here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/49259

Second Life turns 10!

Cowgirl meets really big Tron dude, Xyon Ansar, very creative
