About Arte Merva
..........................................
There is one earth, many realities, lots of different truths
but there is only one universal reality..
in there lies the secret of contentment.
To describe a picture appers to me as if I’d deprive the viewer of his indepent
relationship to my works.

Therefore there will hardly be any captions to my works, just occasionally my thoughts about it.
If a picture doesn’t communicate, it might nor have been made for that particular viewer.
Yours, Merva
...............................................
About Merva

My art intentionally comes without any description, so that the viewer has the opportunity of his own interpretation.

My artistic development:
1979: art school for four years in , Switzerland
1983: two years as an illustrator at an advertising agency
1986: my own airbrush and painting studio until 1996
1996 to 2003, journeys to many different places all over the world with my artwork
2003: returning to Switzerland
2007: comeback to my painting art work, mainly concentrating on intuitive spiritual painting because of a lot of life experience
with my friends and my opponents
my special thanks to all these people!
Thank you all for visiting my resident and my shop's
with love and respect,
Yours, Merva
......................................................
About Spirit of You

What is Spirit of You 2012 ?
I'll give you the following words by Rebecca RL

"People’s voices:
It has become a daily ritual for me and my brother to draw a card from Merva’s card deck every morning, and it is always impressive how the card that we draw, applies to our daily attitude and mood.
If for example, I draw the card ‘’patience’’ I know that I have to be careful not to be impatient with either people or personal projects....
The cards always tell us what to look out for, and it’s a great daily help and pleasure to work with them because of the law of synchronicity which applies.

Working with these cards is a great experience which helps me listening to my heart and using my inner wisdom."

GRAPHICS ~ ART ~ PHOTOGRAPHY

We met in Second Life several years ago at another gallery and one thing led to another, now we live together with the big black dog named Gigabyte in Southwestern South Dakota, in the Black Hills OMG is it nice up here!

We bring our love for the arts inworld and encourage others, too! We have set aside a special room for a guest artist. From my experience, it's going to be hard to decide on just one. There is an inspiring amount of creative enthusiasm in SL.

Soul Yheng ~ Master Photographer

The show is called "Springtime in the Southwest" and shows off Soul Yheng's talent as a photographer:

You can almost walk right into them, really need to be seen to be believed, his technique is unique....
FROM THE BIO:
All art work in my gallery is original art created by me in RL. The oil pastels were created on large (20"x30") watercolor paper, then photographed to import into SL. All photographs were taken by me and edited only to adjust exposure and color in Photoshop. The SL photographs were enhanced in Photoshop before being imported into SL. Each piece is an extension of my artistic vision. My work is influeneced by the natural world and our place in it, the beauty of the human form and the reflection of that in nature. I will do custom orders, if you have a design idea or would like a piece to match your decor let me know. Custom framing is available.

LIVE Caoilte Skytower at Artist's Reception for Elin Egoyan

SLURL

Caoilte Skytower (pronounced "Queel-chah") is Irish, Scottish, English and American Folk/Rock, all tied together with his incredible voice and skills on guitar!  He has been involved in music for 35 years, performing folk and rock music in RL pubs and cafe's since he was 21. Cao has been active in various reniassance and folk festivals over the years, as well as other events. His voice is relaxing, as described by his fans. This opinion makes him feel honored, as he stated, "The songs I sing mean a lot to me, and it comes across in my delivery."  Cao finds it important to truly connect with his audience, making them laugh at his humorous songs, clap along with the drinking songs, sing along with the classics, and even cry at the sad ones.

ELIN EGOYAN:

Elin’s creativity has to find his way out and
she does that in one of her passions: painting.

The use of the material decides the technique.
With pastel (crayon) she makes portraits. Meanly ethnical faces and faces witch show an emotion.

The acryl paintings strike because of the use of
bright and harmonious colours. Often she tries
to tell a story with them or show a certain emotion. Her intuition and inner emotion are her guide. She floats with the motion and colours in the painting through which there are waves of colour and harmony coming
of the canvas.

Since a while Elin also makes digital art with the same use of bright colors and forms.
